This time, though, instead of being stationed in Bellingham, Wash., he was sent to Valdez, Alaska. But whereas the first call-up was SUPPOSED to be for a year, this call-up WILL be for a year.  Even though we did already catch SuDamned HuSatan.

 

Yeah, the only thing the "outside world" knows about that place is a few jokes dealing with some oil tanker spill... by the way, ya' got any good ones? :)

 

Norm will be up in Valdez, suffering from a severe bout of loneliness until (DATE?).  To keep himself busy, he watches re-runs of the first season of West Wing, which he got from "the good son"/daughter-in-law.  Then, when he is done with that, he walks to the post office/police station/diner/pool hall/dance hall/school building.  After that, he watches a few more episodes.  Then walks back to the post office/police station/diner/pool hall/dance hall/school building... and the cycle just continues.  It's a vicious cycle at that.  "I eat because I'm depressed.  I'm depressed because I eat.  It's a vicious cycle."
